Fabric Requirements for Bag with Interior Pockets & Recessed Zipper

• ·    2/3  yard of fabric for outside body of bag

  ·       ½ yard of fabric for straps and recessed zipper

  ·       2/3  yard of fabric for lining

  ·       ½ yard of fabric for interior pockets + ½ yard SF101

  ·       Optional: Fat Quarter of fabric for bottom Panel (will need pieced if you are making a 24” wide tote)

  ·       1 yard X 40” (minimum) of foam stabilizer such as Fusible In-R-Form (single or double-sided) or ByAnnie Soft & Stable

  ·       Basting Glue or Elmer’s School Glue

  ·       30” or 40” zipper

  ·       Zipper foot for your machine

  ·       Coordinating thread for topstitching around the back and on zipper panel
