Gaelic Charm is a beginner-friendly mystery quilt that reveals itself one clue at a time, and it's the kind of design that takes on a completely different personality depending on the fabrics you choose. Traditional, modern, scrappy, jewel-toned, sophisticated — it's yours to make.
Choose from two settings, Mixer or Pints. Both finish at a generous 84″ × 84″.
Start with one Layer Cake or with coordinated yardage. The whole adventure happens inside our free Mystery Five-0 Facebook Group, where you'll find weekly clue videos, kit sneak peeks, and a room full of quilters stitching right alongside you.

We're curating kits right now, and choosing these fabrics has been the best part of our week. Each kit includes everything you need for the quilt top and binding, in a colorway we've pulled and tested ourselves.

Registration is free with any $50 purchase.
There's no separate entry fee and no subscription. Spend $50 with us and you're registered for Gaelic Charm.
That $50 can be anything in the shop — fabric, notions, batting, a class, longarm services, or a $50 Mystery Five-0 gift certificate. A kit is never required to participate.
A few details worth knowing:
- Each mystery requires its own registration, so a gift certificate covers one mystery
- The $50 registration amount isn't eligible for discounts or Bea Bucks
- Registered quilters receive every clue by email, on the release date, at 11:00 a.m. Eastern

For Gaelic Charm, Lara's travels take her to Dublin, where an old friend from her Air Force OSI days has asked her to look into a troubling situation at a local pub. Something isn't adding up, and the owner needs someone who notices what other people miss.
Lara packed her sewing supplies expecting a quiet trip. It seems she'll be piecing together more than quilt blocks.
