Colorway Arts Cartonnage Fabric Photo Caddy

Make your own fabric box with NO-SEW using cartonnage technique. It is so fun and it makes a unique handmade gift! This is a great box that you will make out of paperboard, fabric and glue with this lovely craft!! And your pieces will be sturdy as wood, but made with your favorite fabric! Adding the frame you can add your arts (mini quilt blocks, embroideries, drawings), or photo.

This DIY cartonnage Kit comes with all cardboard and other pieces you need to make your own box, with one frame, as shown in the pictures. Fabric IS NOT included, use your favorite fat quarters! The pieces of paper (chipboard and poster board) are precut in the right sizes you need for this project. The finished box will be 5 1/2" x 5 1/2" x 5 1/2". No worries about cutting paper! Fabric and other contents showed in pictures are not included.

The color picture instruction is a very clear PDF tutorial (eBook) with lots of pictures showing in details step by step to guide you through the whole process (it is not video, it's eBook), no steps missing, no guessing! Inside the kit you will find the password and easy directions to download the instruction to your computer.

For making the box you will need this kit, two coordinating fabrics (1 fat quarter each), white PVA glue (Glue All from Elmer's), rotary cutter, cutting board, a small paint roller with tray, paint brush, masking tape, scissors. If you want to add your art, the final size of the mini quilt, or the embroidery fabric should be 3 1/2" x 3 1/2" and you will see the center area of 3" x 3" on the frame.

Cartonnage tools (spatula, acrylic spacers and corner tool) will facilitate the process and give a better finishing for your project. Find them online here or at the shop!
