We are excited to open up the She-Shed on non-class days for sewers to come sit for a spell and work on their current projects! Portable design boards will be available for use until the big design board is secured to the back wall.
There is a $6 sitting fee (Discount available for groups - please contact Amanda to reserve) that covers the cost of cleaning and disinfecting the space as well as the complimentary coffee/tea/water that is provided. Please contact us by calling or texting 330-284-5885 or email us at beatricetqb@gmail.com so Amanda reserves the space for your particular day. Seating is limited to 8 sewers per day but can be reserved for your private event at a discounted rate of $5/each. If a sewer purchases something from the shop in that same day, such as a fat quarter, yardage, pre-cut or thread, we will discount it by $1.00.
Sewers must bring their own machines and note that the She-Shed closes 15 to 30 minutes before the shop closes; so, no later than 2:45 on Wednesdays, Fridays & Saturdays, and 4:45 on Thursdays. Sewers are responsible for cleaning up their workspaces at the end of the day and unplugging irons. Food or drink must be consumed and contained within the She-Shed or library area, and is forbidden in the shop area.
Fabric is sold by the half yard. If you are wanting more than a half yard, multiply by 2. Example- selecting 4 half yards = 2 yards. Your fabric will be cut in one continuous piece.
