Easy Coasters from Scraps

Many of us were raised to never attend an event - dinner, cocktails, holiday brunch, etc... - at someone's home empty handed.  Taking a set of coasters as a hostess or host gift is a great token of appreciation and a great way to use up your fabric and batting stash!

Judy has filmed a quick tutorial for how she makes them, which follows the basics of our pattern (available here) that we include in our coaster kits where we've precut the squares of fabric and batting for you.  She also shows you an optional "square in the square" version towards the end of the tutorial.

They are super easy and super cute so make a quick set today for all of your holiday plans!  All you need is two fat quarters and four 5" squares of batting!

 Happy Sewing!
